Kuala Lumpur – Karak
Opened in 1994 at a project cost of RM460 million, the 60-kilometre Kuala Lumpur–Karak Highway (KLK) is a vital transportation corridor connecting the Klang Valley with Karak, Pahang. Operating under a 38-year concession period from 1994 to 2032, the highway strengthens connectivity between the west and east coasts of Peninsular Malaysia while providing convenient access to prominent tourist destinations, including Genting Highlands, Colmar Tropicale and the Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre.
Karak – Jabor
The 174-kilometre East Coast Expressway 1 (ECE1), also known as LPT1, extends the Kuala Lumpur–Karak Highway from Karak to Jabor. As a key transportation corridor, LPT1 serves as a catalyst for economic development and regional growth across the east coast states of Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan.
